Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Research & Development Officer

What are the Job Responsibilities?

·       Research/Trial design and implementation. Develop and design trials for hogs and poultry farms, including animal breeding, growing, feeding, health and overall management.

·       Data analysis and reporting. Collect, analyze, and interpret data from farm trials and presenting results and recommendations to senior management and farm operations.

·       Product and process improvement. Identify opportunities to develop new products or improve existing.

·       On-farm trial. Conduct and manage on-farm trials, ensuring proper set-up, execution and monitoring of activities.

·       Troubleshooting and collaboration. Work with farm operations and Technical Veterinarians team to identify and resolve farm issues.

·       Technical Support. Provide technical expertise and support to farm operations and management on animal production and health matters.

· Maintains and records activities via an approved gantt chart.

·       Reports and updates track projects weekly.

What are the Qualifications?

·       Must be a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

·       Must have at least 3 years working experience in Livestock farms on Poultry, Hog Farming, or small animals & medications

·       Must have at least 2 years' experience in conducting farm /clinical trials including protocols, monitoring, and reporting

·       With in-depth knowledge of Hogs and poultry medicine, health management, and welfare standards with the ability to recommend and administer vaccines, medications, and other treatments

·       Willing to start on October 16, 2025
