New Flavor House, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research and Development Manager to join our team based in Potrero Malabon City, Metro Manila. What you'll be doing

  • Lead a team of research and development professionals in the creation and testing of new flavor formulations
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, to translate product ideas into viable solutions
  • Oversee the development and improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in materials sciences and flavor technology
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to support the R&D department's objectives

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a research and development role within the food or beverage industry
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of R&D professionals
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Strong understanding of flavor chemistry, food processing techniques, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools for product development and testing
