Position: IT Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager with strong hands-on skills in IT troubleshooting, office hardware and software maintenance, and IT asset management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily IT support functions while also assisting in basic IT infrastructure planning, particularly during office renovation or expansion projects.

This role is operational and support-focused, not infrastructure-heavy, but will require a basic understanding of network setups, cabling, and office IT layouts to support ongoing facilities work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide timely first- and second-line support for desktop hardware, laptops, printers, and other office IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot software, network connectivity, and peripheral device issues across the organization.
  • Ensure uptime and operational continuity of workstations, meeting room setups (video conferencing, displays), and internet connections.

2. IT Office Equipment & Maintenance

  • Oversee the setup, relocation, and maintenance of IT equipment across departments.
  • Conduct routine health checks, firmware updates, and cleaning/maintenance of hardware assets.
  • Manage office Wi-Fi, local area network (LAN) devices, and minor server room support (e.g., patch panel updates, rack organization).

3. Asset Management

  • Maintain and update the IT asset inventory system.
  • Tag, track, and audit IT hardware and software licenses.
  • Coordinate procurement, replacement cycles, and equipment disposal in compliance with internal policies.

4. Infrastructure Support for Renovations

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of IT infrastructure during office renovation, expansion, or relocation projects.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and project managers to ensure structured cabling, network points, and server rooms are properly designed and installed.
  • Provide input on layout and technology needs (e.g., placement of switches, access points, monitors, power requirements).

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT support or IT operations roles.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows/Mac OS environments, MS Office Suite, and common business applications.
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, wireless access points, and printers.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management tools and inventory practices.
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure, structured cabling, and server room layouts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize support requests effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to support internal teams and coordinate with external vendors.

Preferred but Not Mandatory:

  • Experience supporting IT in renovation or fit-out projects.
  • Basic project coordination skills or experience liaising with building management and renovation contractors.

Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
