Technical Architect (Banking & Financial Services)

We're looking for a
Technical Architect
to design and lead enterprise-grade solutions for the financial sector. This role requires deep expertise in
AWS and Kubernetes
, with a focus on building secure, scalable, and compliant systems.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

  • Design end-to-end technical architectures for enterprise applications.
  • Define integration patterns, system interactions, and infrastructure requirements across
    AWS, Azure, and Huawei Cloud
    .

Cloud & Infrastructure

  • Lead the adoption and optimization of
    AWS (must-have)
    and
    Kubernetes (must-have)
    .
  • Establish best practices for container orchestration, microservices, and multi-cloud resiliency.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance with
    PCI-DSS, BSP, and banking standards
    .

Application & Data Layer

  • Guide teams in building secure systems with
    Java (backend), React (frontend), and PostgreSQL (database)
    .
  • Define standards for APIs, event-driven architectures, and data management strategies.

Technical Leadership

  • Partner with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Mentor and coach developers and engineers.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, PoCs, and tool/platform evaluations.

Client Engagement

  • Collaborate with banking and financial clients to deliver secure, compliant designs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on
    cloud adoption, modernization, and performance optimization
    .

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Strong expertise in
    AWS
    (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, networking, security).
  • Hands-on experience with
    Kubernetes
    (design, deployment, scaling, monitoring).
  • Proven experience architecting
    large-scale, mission-critical systems
    .

Good-to-Have

  • Experience with
    Azure
    and/or
    Huawei Cloud
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Java, React, PostgreSQL
    .
  • Knowledge of
    microservices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices
    .
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards (
    PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, BSP, Data Privacy Act
    ).

Certifications (Preferred)

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional)
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) / Application Developer (CKAD)
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Huawei Certified ICT Expert (Cloud)
  • TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture
