About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a
Solutions Architect
to join one of the
region's most influential financial institutions
, a recognized leader in digital transformation and customer experience. This role is a direct mandate to define the future state of the bank's technology landscape. You will be instrumental in the
modernization of core banking systems
and the architectural definition of next-generation customer-facing digital products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Design:
    Define and document end-to-end technical solutions for complex projects, focusing on digital channels,
    API connectivity
    , data platforms, and core system integration.
  • Technology Strategy:
    Develop and champion architectural standards, patterns, and roadmaps aligned with the bank's long-term strategic objectives and stringent security requirements.
  • Governance & Review:
    Conduct comprehensive technical reviews of proposed solutions, ensuring strict adherence to enterprise architecture principles, security policies, and performance targets.
  • Cloud & Modernization:
    Drive the technical adoption of modern platforms, including public cloud services (e.g.,
    AWS, GCP, Azure
    ),
    microservices
    , containerization (Kubernetes), and event-driven architectures.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Serve as the technical authority, working closely with product management, engineering leads, security officers, and operations teams to translate complex business requirements into robust, implementable technical specifications.
  • Risk Mitigation:
    Proactively identify, analyze, and propose mitigation strategies for potential technical risks and dependencies early in the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience
    in Information Technology, including at least
    3 years in a dedicated Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect role
    within the
    Financial Services or Banking industry.
  • Proven expertise in designing highly available, scalable, and secure systems in complex multi-platform environments (on-premise and Cloud).
  • Deep practical knowledge of
    API design and management
    (REST, OpenAPI, API Gateways) and proficiency with enterprise integration patterns (e.g., message queues, ESBs, microservices).
  • Strong understanding of modern software development and delivery practices (
    CI/CD, DevOps, GitOps
    ) and experience operating within agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., security, data governance) within the banking sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex architectural concepts and trade-offs to both technical teams and executive leadership.
