Solution Architect (Zycus Procurement / S2P Architect)

Job Description:

The Solution Architect will lead the technical and functional analysis of the Zycus implementation, focusing on end-to-end procurement processes, system architecture, and overall design evaluation. This role ensures that the current system aligns with business goals, industry best practices, and platform capabilities, and provides actionable recommendations to simplify customizations and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment of the Zycus environment and related procurement workflows.
  • Map current-state procurement processes including sourcing, contracting, supplier management, P2P, and invoicing.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis to determine which customizations are essential and which can be replaced with out-of-the-box functionality.
  • Evaluate the system architecture for scalability, maintainability, and integration efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Technical Architects to review data flows, APIs, and integration points with ERP or other enterprise systems.
  • Develop detailed recommendations for simplifying custom features, streamlining workflows, and enhancing user experience.
  • Document architecture diagrams, process flows, and system dependencies.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of requirements and implementation feasibility.
  • Provide guidance on platform upgrades and adoption of Zycus best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and enterprise procurement systems.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and enterprise procurement systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, process architecture, and system design.
  • Experience with Zycus implementations is preferred but not mandatory; familiarity with S2P platforms is essential.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with business, technical, and functional teams.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in conducting system assessments, fit-gap analysis, and process optimization projects.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required for this Solution Architect position.
