Apply now  Learn more: Reporting to: Logistics Operations ManagerDuty Post: BGC, TaguigApplication Duration:This job posting will remain open until the vacancy is filled.Inbound Specialist The main objective is to have continuous supply of products coming from the factories. The main task is to monitor these shipments from factories both local and imported in coordination with Global Supply Chain, Factory-based Customer Service, Planning, Customs Brokers, Excise, Central Warehouse, Vendor/s and others. In support of the manufacture of finished goods, transportation of tax stamps is part of the scope which could be at times export in nature if products are imported.Part of the daily tasks is the pullout of Market Returns in coordination if Modern Trade and GBSAd hoc tasks that may be in scope are the following: sending of product samples, pull out of finished goods for disposal, hustling or transfers from overflow warehouse to main warehouse, management of movements of non-FG items nationwide including disposalsRESPONSIBILITIES:FINISHED GOODSTo coordinate with different parties involving movement of Finished Goods which are comprised of technical local importation (if applicable), importation and others.This may include oversight of hustling or transfers from overflow warehouse to main warehouse.MARKET RETURNS or BAD ORDER DISPOSALTo coordinate with Modern Trade, Sales, Customer Finance, Customer Service, GBS O2C, Warehouse and Vendor/s on the schedule of pullout of market returns. Eventually, these returns and others will be subject for disposal and must be transported to its disposal facility. Corresponding reports shall be submitted to provide status to stakeholders.PRODUCT SAMPLESTo send samples to QA for testing as requested by inventory control team or others.FINISHED GOODS (Government)To liaise with Customs Brokers and/or Excise Team on ensuring timeliness of processing the necessary government permits and payments for importation until the finished goods are released from customsTo ensure timely and proper archiving of pertinent import documents for audit purposes. This includes certificates and permits in relation to government agencies namely BOC, BIR, DTITAX STAMPSTo provide oversight on local transfers of tax stamps for locally produced finished goods. In the case of imported goods, export of tax stamps may be needed and this will be coordinated with Customs and Excise, Planning and Vendor/s.NON-FINISHED GOODSTo provide oversight of all non-FG items stored in central warehouse (inclusive of documentation of all movements)To provide support for other branches that may request transfers or disposal of non-FG items including POSMsVENDOR MANAGEMENTTo properly monitor all booked shipments to customers to ensure on time and in full deliveries. The billings of the services rendered by vendor/s shall be reviewed accordingly based on approved contract rates. The expenses shall be recognized by performing GR postings in SAP.To file claims to vendor/s as the need arises. The claims must be properly documented and monitored until it gets settled.Position Requirements: Possess a Degree in BS Industrial / Management Engineering or Business Administration preferably under Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or equivalent.College Graduate or equivalent years of experience in Supply Chain (end to end) or Transport Management is an advantage.Minimum 5 years' experience in dealing with customs clearance and brokers. Experience in logistics / warehousing and transportation or supply chain (end to end) in a sales and distribution environment of a FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry.Knowledge in dealing with BIR (ATRIG), NTA (ICC) and DTI is an advantage.Experience in processing customs clearance in Tobacco Industry is a huge advantage.Able to speak and write English well.Functional skills:Must be computer literate (excel, word and PowerPoint at the least).SAP knowledge would be advantageous. Has good process and people management.Has strong drive for results and attention to details.Should be resourceful and has high problem solving skills.Are you ready to join us?
