IT Business Analyst Opportunity: Join Our Innovative Team

The
IT Business Analyst
is the liaison between the business group, vendors, and the information systems

group. The Business Systems Analyst analyzes the project requirements, functional specifications, and

assists the business in documenting the requirements to ensure the development of a comprehensive

solution.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Requirements gathering and analysis

  2. Process mapping and modeling

  3. Data analysis and interpretation

  4. Solution design and recommendation

  5. Stakeholder management

  6. Project management:


• Analyze business requirements and assist the business in documentation by organizing disparate requirements into logical categories


• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and communicate requirements to the technical team


• Bridge the gap between the business and the development team to clarify requirements


• Assisting with project planning, monitoring progress, tracking milestones, and coordinating resources to ensure timely delivery of projects or initiatives.

  1. Documentation and reporting

  2. User acceptance testing and quality assurance

  3. Change management:


• Provide end-user manuals/instruction to the application support group, especially when it comes to resolving production issues


• Facilitate turnover or transition of the project to the application support group during stabilization.

  1. Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, tools, methodologies, and best practices related to business analysis.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge (Minimum Training/Certification Courses/Requirements)


• Business systems analysis


• Financial services


• Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Skills (Minimum/Preferred Proficiency/Skills Required)


• Excellent leadership skills

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills

Experience (Minimum/Preferred Actual Experience/Work Experience)


• At least 5 years of experience in a business systems analysis role


• At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry


• At least 5 years of experience in a financial services institution.

Education (Minimum/Preferred Undergraduate/Graduate/Postgraduate Course)


• Graduate of a 4-year college degree in Computer Science, IT, Management, Banking or other related courses
