Business Analyst

Job Overview

The Senior Business Analyst plays a key strategic role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for financial and operational improvement, and driving system enhancements that align with organizational goals. This role works closely with stakeholders across finance, IT, and business units to define requirements, implement solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-impact initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong financial background, excellent analytical skills, and experience in leading end-to-end business analysis activities in a corporate or enterprise environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Lead the analysis of complex financial and operational processes to identify gaps, business needs, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Translate financial and business requirements into clear specifications for developers and solution teams.

Solution Design & Implementation

• Partner with IT and finance teams to design, develop, and implement financial systems or enhancements.
• Conduct impact analysis for system changes and process improvements.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with regulatory, compliance, and financial control standards.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with senior business leaders, finance teams, and technology partners to provide insights and recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to drive decision-making.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on financial processes and systems.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze financial data and trends to support strategic initiatives and business case development.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and performance reports for management review.
• Provide insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Project Leadership

• Lead or support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Contribute to project planning, testing, and implementation phases, including UAT and training activities.
• Monitor project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation, cost optimization, and process efficiency.
• Develop and maintain business process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Promote best practices in financial governance and business analysis methodologies.

QualificationsEducation

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CPA, CFA, or PMP are an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services, banking, shared services, or enterprise finance functions.
• Demonstrated experience in financial systems implementation, process improvement, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial frameworks, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

• Proficient in financial modeling, reporting tools, and ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Php50, Php80,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
