Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Remark Steel Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Spervise and monitor steel structure site operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules.

·      Interpret and implement construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications accurately.

·      Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of steel materials, tools, and equipment.

·      Conduct daily inspections to monitor work progress, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations.

·      Prepare and maintain site reports, daily diaries, progress updates, and material usage records.

·      Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies in plans and specifications.

·      Attend coordination meetings to provide updates on progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.

·      Ensure all steel fabrication, welding, lifting, and installation activities comply with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and company policies.

·      Assist in cost monitoring, resource allocation, and manpower scheduling.

·      Liaise with QA/QC teams to ensure welding quality, alignment, and finishing meet project requirements.

Skills Required:

·      
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field

·      
Certified BOSH/COSH graduate (Safety Officer 2 or higher preferred)

·      
At least 2 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role.

·      
Knowledge of construction processes, technical standards, and safety regulations.

·      
Strong communication, observation, and analytical skills

·      
Physically fit and willing to be assigned to various project sites across the Philippines

·      
Proficient in MS Office tools and documentation

·      
Physically able to conduct field inspections in various site conditions

·      
Amenable to relocation and field assignment depending on project needs

·      
Able to work under pressure and long hours when needed
