Job Descriptions and Key Responsibilities;

  1. Supervision of Civil Works

  2. Monitor and supervise day-to-day civil activities (excavation, rebar, formwork, concreting, etc.).

  3. Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

  4. Quality Control and Inspection

  5. Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet quality standards.

  6. Perform testing (e.g., slump tests, cube tests) and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.

  7. Planning and Coordination

  8. Coordinate with subcontractors, site supervisors, and other engineers for smooth workflow.

  9. Ensure civil activities align with overall project schedule and raise concerns about delays or conflicts.

  10. Technical Support and Problem Solving

  11. Provide technical guidance and resolve site issues related to civil works.

  12. Communicate with structural and design engineers to clarify discrepancies in drawings or specs.

  13. Reporting and Documentation

  14. Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and records of material usage.

  15. Document variations, site instructions, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Key Skills and Knowledge Areas

  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural principles.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil/structural drawings.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, surveying equipment, and MS Project/Primavera (optional).
  • Coordinates and keeps continual contact with project counterparts concerning project issues, progress, deadlines, and costs.
  • Ensures effective deployment of manpower, machines, and other resources.
  • Supervises preparation and/or prepares accomplishment billings. Ensures that all accomplished items are billed accordingly.
  • Provides the on-site rebar construction bar cutting list, form works repair, concreting structures, and Heavy equipment production.
  • Assists the Project Manager in establishing guidelines, methodology, format, and management system to keep the project within schedule and the budget, as well as maintain safety measure consideration.
  • Checks and/or supervises establishment of lines and grades to be accurate as per plans.
  • Prepares and submits on time the required monthly program and corresponding logistic requirements, and weekly accomplishment reports.
  • Submits report of daily accomplishment and corresponding equipment, POL, materials, labor, etc. utilized in implementing the same.
  • Prepares details on claims for a contract time extension, variation orders, etc (if needed).
  • Prepares working drawings and other plan details needed in the actual execution of work.
  • Assists the Project Manager in the operation and administration of the Field Office in the areas of finance, procurement, and personnel.
  • Supervises preparation and/or prepares cost data and statistics of project expenditures.
  • Ensures that quality of work passes the basic requirement as to tests on physical and engineering properties.
  • Prepares and submits needed details for "As Built Drawings" and completion report of the completed project.
  • Performs other related duties and special assignments that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
