About the role

Coolaire Consolidated Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic accounting team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As the Accounting Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional development and growth within our organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxation, and reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents to support management decision-making
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the reliability of financial information
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar accounting supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
  • Experience from any industry sector will be considered for this role
  • Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, standards, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring an accounting team
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
  • CPA certification or equivalent professional accreditation is preferred
