Job Description:

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

  2. Develop and implement last-mile sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.

  3. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales approaches.
  4. Ensure product availability and visibility at retail outlets, distributors, and e-commerce platforms.

  5. Distribution & Channel Management:

  6. Oversee last-mile distribution networks, including retailers, wholesalers, and direct-to-consumer channels.

  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, delivery partners, and key retail accounts.
  8. Ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.

3. Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives and field agents.
  • Set performance targets, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching to improve team productivity.
  • Monitor KPIs such as sales conversion rates, delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

4. Customer & Retailer Engagement:

  • Work closely with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and merchandising strategies.
  • Gather feedback from customers and retailers to improve service delivery and product offerings.
  • Resolve any last-mile delivery or sales-related issues promptly.

5. Reporting & Analytics:

  • Track and analyze sales data, distribution metrics, and market insights.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize last-mile sales operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years in sales management, preferably in FMCG, e-commerce, logistics, or retail distribution.

  • Last-Mile Expertise: Strong understanding of last-mile delivery processes and sales execution.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire sales teams.

  • Communication: Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, CRM, BI tools).

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot last-mile challenges and improve efficiency.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, with telco background but can consider other industry background

  • Knowledge of route optimization and inventory management.

  • Familiarity with digital sales platforms and omnichannel distribution.

  • With broadband sales experience

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Sales growth in last-mile channels.

  • On-time delivery and order fulfillment rates.

  • Retailer/distributor satisfaction scores.

  • Team productivity and sales target achievement.

  • Manage the sales agents (broadband products)
