Risk Management & Financial Control Support
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Support the COO in ensuring adherence to internal financial controls and compliance requirements.
- Conduct and deliver risk assessment reports on schedule.
- Monitor macroeconomic factors that may impact company performance.

- Risk assessment reports delivered on time.
- No major audit findings related to Finance and Accounting or compliance issues.
Investment & Capital Planning
Key Responsibilities
- Support evaluation of capital expenditure (CapEx) proposals and perform ROI analysis.
- Monitor capital deployment to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Advise management on optimal funding and capital allocation strategies.
KPIs
- ROI on approved investments meets or exceeds target.
- CapEx utilization rate maintained within approved thresholds.
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with business unit leaders to ensure alignment of financial and operational strategies.
- Act as a financial coach to non-financial managers to enhance business acumen.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support strategic initiatives.

Market Intelligence & External Benchmarking

HSE Accountabilities / Job Authority and Other Factors
HSE Responsibilities
- Support all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities and programs of the company.
- Ensure that business continuity plans and risk management frameworks incorporate workplace safety, cybersecurity resilience, and environmental sustainability provisions.
- Ensure all business decisions comply with established company policies and procedures.
Decision-Making Authority
- Approves budgets, capital expenditures, and investments within corporate policies and delegated authority limits.
- Decides on strategic partnerships, investments, and divestitures (subject to Board approval).
- Determines allocation of financial and operational resources to support corporate priorities and manage risks effectively.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Physical Effort
- Requires strong mental agility, attention to detail, analytical ability, and critical thinking.
- Physical demands are moderate, consisting primarily of sitting, standing, walking, and conducting training or briefing sessions when needed.
- Must be able to see and hear within normal ranges (with or without correction) and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must possess the stamina to work extended hours or overtime when necessary and be willing to work irregular schedules, including weekends, holidays, evenings, or varying shifts as required.
Work Environment
- The position operates primarily in a professional office environment and regularly utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
- This is largely a sedentary role but may involve frequent interactions and meetings across departments.
- Occasional travel may be required for board meetings, investor relations, industry conferences, or site inspections.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (required).
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field (preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent professional certification (required).
- Additional certifications in corporate governance, risk management, or strategic finance are an advantage.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of
20 years
of progressive experience in finance or accounting. - At least
10 years
in a senior leadership capacity with proven experience in strategic financial management, governance, and operational oversight.
