Job Purpose

This role will primarily assist in salary benchmarking, data analysis, and talent acquisition operations. The intern will work closely with the HR team to build salary databases, analyze trends, and support recruitment transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and consolidate salary and labor market data from internal and external sources.
  • Analyze compensation trends, job roles, and market benchmarks to support salary structure updates.
  • Prepare salary benchmarking tables, dashboards, and analytical reports for management review.
  • Build and maintain HR datasets related to compensation, roles, and market pay ranges.
  • Support recruitment processes including sourcing, resume screening, and candidate shortlisting.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, testing, and communication between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and updated applicant tracking sheets and recruitment databases.
  • Assist in evaluating and tracking recruitment KPIs (time-to-hire, sourcing efficiency, pipeline status).
  • Support preparation of HR reports, presentations, and analytics summaries.
  • Help organize HR data files, ensure document accuracy, and handle confidential information professionally.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in HR, Psychology, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related course
  • Coursework in statistics, research methods, or data analysis preferred
  • Strong analytical and research skills; detail-oriented
  • Proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets (or willing to learn advanced functions)
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Able to handle confidential information with integrity
