Job DescriptionThe Instructional Designer, Sales Enablement is responsible for assisting the Sales Enablement team in meeting their enablement objectives through the development, delivery and management of process and product training, content and tools. This person works cross-functionally to ensure that new sales content and tools align with the corporate strategy, sales process and selling skills methodologies at Aptean. As a key contributor to the Sales Enablement team, the Instructional Designer, Sales Enablement is focused on supporting the key existing programs for Sales teams and helping to define new ones as necessary.

· Knowledge: Understand how to deploy Tools/courses/packages that support Sales teams.

· Complexity: Be able to understand what is needed by sellers ; specifically, how sellers will consume the information and building assets that ensure sellers can absorb the content quickly and effectively.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Coordinate and facilitate onboarding to ensure a smooth transition and readiness for role responsibilities.

· Manage and maintain ADR/BDR-specific tools, resources, and process documentation to ensure effective utilization and continuous improvement.

· Create, package, and implement high-value, easy-to-use sales tools (sales guides, playbooks, training decks, presentations, etc.) and process documentation to support strategic sales enablement initiatives.

· Assist the principal in the creation, development, and delivery of sales courses and programs, including curriculum design, scheduling, and logistics.

· Gather insights, feedback, and best practices while building solid relationships with the sales team, sales leadership, and executive management.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and recommend solutions for enhanced performance and engagement of ADRs and the Sales Teams.

· Work with Sales Enablement leaders to help define strategic goals and measurements for ADR and Sales teams.

· Support the implementation and tracking of sales training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and measuring effectiveness.

· Create and drive adoption of content, resources, tools, sales communications, and training materials to create a consistent message.

· Actively participate in and identify opportunities for efficiencies, automation, standardization, and ways to simplify processes.

· Continually measure and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvements.

· Participate in cross-functional internal team meetings to manage status of deliverables and share feedback.

The Successful Candidate

· At least 5 years of proven ability to effectively deliver and facilitate training plans and objectives via face-to-face and virtual sessions, preferably with an Enterprise software company.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate readiness to pivot and adapt to changing priorities.

· Experience with onboarding and ever-boarding activities for Sales teams

· Understanding of Adult Learning and Development concepts

· Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) tools for course creation, delivery, and tracking. Specific experience with LMS 365 a plus.

· Experience with building storyboards with digital content – specific to Sales Enablement, L&D type deployments

· In-depth experience creating courses using Colossyan, including advanced features and best practices.

· Strong proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, leveraging these technologies to enhance training and enablement programs.

· Willingness and enthusiasm to collaborate with international teams across multiple time zones and cultures.

· Comfortable with maintaining libraries of content used by Sales via systems such as Sharepoint

· Any experience with DAP platforms such as WalkMe would be a bonus

· Strong project management, coordination, and presentation skills

· Experience in process documentation and material creation and development

· Exceptional attention to details and analytical skills for data-driven activities

· Strong skills working with Microsoft Applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively facilitate presentations, content, and data to the team

· Ability to effectively manage time and work with minimal supervision

· Working knowledge with Salesforce, Clari, and other CRM tool is an advantage
