Job Description
As a Digital Analytics Specialist, you'll track and optimize website and campaign performance to uncover actionable insights that support marketing and lead-generation efforts. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, implement advanced tracking strategies, and turn data into decisions that fuel digital success across the organization.

The Qualifications We Seek
- 3+ years of experience in web or digital analytics, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
- Advanced expertise with Google Tag Manager (GTM) - including custom events, variables, triggers, and debugging
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) - event modeling, conversion setup, and exploration reports
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau
- Solid understanding of marketing funnels, attribution logic, and customer journey analysis
- Experience with CMS-based websites (especially WordPress) and common front-end elements
- Proficiency with debugging tools (Tag Assistant, GA Debugger, browser DevTools)
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA compliance, cookie consent tools, and tracking governance best practices
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- SQL and/or BigQuery for large-scale data extraction and analysis
- Familiarity with web experimentation platforms (e.g., VWO, Optimizely)
- Understanding of CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce)
- Strong storytelling and data visualization skills to present insights effectively
- Confidence in presenting findings to cross-functional stakeholders and marketing leadership
Your Daily Tasks
Analytics Strategy & Implementation
- Own end-to-end implementation of website tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Set up and troubleshoot GA4 custom events, conversions, and behavioral tracking
- Maintain clean and well-documented dataLayer implementations across the website
- Audit and validate data integrity across platforms, including cross-domain and campaign tracking
- Develop scalable tagging frameworks and enforce consistent taxonomy and governance standards
Reporting & Insights
- Build and maintain dashboards using GA4, Looker Studio, and other BI tools to track KPIs like engagement, bounce rate, form submissions, and funnel performance
- Analyze user behavior to uncover UX, content, or performance improvement opportunities
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for marketing, design, and web development teams
- Regularly deliver insights to marketing stakeholders, including in QBRs and campaign retrospectives
Optimization & Experimentation
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to support A/B testing and CRO initiatives
- Help design, implement, and evaluate experiments using tools like Google Optimize (or successor), VWO, or Optimizely
- Monitor conversion paths, identify drop-offs, and inform strategies to improve lead quality and pipeline influence
Collaboration & Governance
- Partner with developers to validate tracking on dynamic content, forms, and WordPress ACF-based templates
- Support UTM governance, campaign attribution modeling, and channel-specific reporting
- Collaborate with SEO, performance marketing, and RevOps to assess traffic quality and MQL behavior
- Maintain structured QA workflows and a centralized change log for analytics deployments
Advanced Analysis (Preferred)
- Utilize tools like BigQuery or SQL for more advanced exploration and audience segmentation
- Combine web analytics with CRM or marketing automation data to understand conversion journeys
