The Role

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at Head Hunter Inc., you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new client opportunities, securing assignments, and feeding the sales pipeline for our Recruiters (Account Executives). You'll be at the front line of our growth engine, driving conversations with startup founders, executives, and decision-makers.

This is a high-activity, outbound-focused role — perfect for someone who is competitive, ambitious, and motivated by results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, and calls to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified client leads.
  • Book discovery calls and assignments for our Recruiters (AEs).
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to hit weekly and monthly targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with Recruiters to ensure smooth client handover and assignment setup.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed KPIs including outreach volume, assignments signed, and deposits collected.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years experience in sales, lead generation, or business development (agency, SaaS, or recruitment background preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication and written English skills.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and prospecting tools.
  • Competitive, self-driven, and target-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Resilient and adaptable — able to thrive in a fast-scaling startup.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $600-$1000 per month DOE (contractor role).
  • Performance Bonus: $50 per successful placement closed, uncapped.
  • Annual Performance Bonus: Up to $5,000 (based on hitting placement milestones).
  • Uncapped earning potential — the more you deliver, the more you earn.
