Job Summary

The Sales Accounting Staff is responsible for monitoring, validating, and analyzing daily sales transactions across assigned branches or regions. The role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of sales reporting, invoice generation, and system encoding, while supporting the Finance Department in reconciling sales data with inventory, payments, and system records.

Responsibilities

  • Track and validate daily sales reports submitted by assigned branches or regions.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of recorded transactions before posting to the system.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date sales records for reference and compliance.
  • Monitor and reconcile discrepancies between system entries and branch reports.
  • Conduct regular reconciliation between sales, inventory, and collection records.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Identify areas for improvement in reporting procedures or data management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledge in basic accounting and financial documentation.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales accounting or cashier audit is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and accounting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
