About the role

As a Quality Engineer at Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and products. This full-time position is based in Calamba City Laguna, where you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust quality control systems to meet the highest industry standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Contribute to the creation and execution of quality assurance plans, procedures, and testing methods to detect and resolve product issues.
  • Work alongside the Failure Analysis (FA) and Reliability teams to examine and address ORT-related concerns.
  • Assist in starting and tracking corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) derived from ORT results.
  • Utilize root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA) with supervision to support reliability improvements.
  • Gather, verify, and interpret ORT data to spot trends, irregularities, and early risk indicators.
  • Compile and present ORT performance summaries, outlining outcomes, deviations, and recommended actions.
  • Keep detailed and organized records of ORT processes to support traceability and compliance audits.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or other related Engineering fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance, preferably within a manufacturing environment. (Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience are also encouraged to apply.)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
