Required Skills


• Strong understanding of Data Management and Data Governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, EDM Council, DCAM), covering metadata, ownership, and data quality principles.


• Hands-on experience with Data Cataloging and Governance Platforms such as Alation UDC, Bigeye, or similar tools.


• Experience with Data and Information Sharing Agreements (ISA / DSLA) and Report Certification Process (RCP) or equivalent control workflows.


• Knowledge of data lineage, Master Data Management (MDM), and reference data practices.


• Strong SQL skills for data profiling, validation, and lineage tracing.


• Familiarity with Stewardship engagement, Change Management, and Governance Reporting.


• Ability to collaborate across Business / IT / Compliance stakeholders in Agile / DevOps delivery models.


• Strong communication and documentation skills, including training, process definition, and stakeholder management.


• Proven experience working in Agile environments, including hands-on usage of JIRA for sprint planning, user stories, and governance backlog tracking.

Preferred / Optional Skills


• Hands-on exposure to BI and Reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, SAS, Cognos, etc.), especially within report certification lifecycle.


• Familiarity with Mainframe or legacy data platforms (e.g., DB2, COBOL feeds, JCL pipelines).


• Exposure to Cloud Data Platforms (Snowflake) and data integration concepts.
