
Accounting Officer

DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- General accounting tasks, including reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations, preparing journal entries, preparing monthly closing and financial reports, preparing account/bank reconciliations;
- Perform finance analysis, reporting, and management tasks;
- Preparation of monthly remittance of government taxes
- Daily budget monitoring on assigned accounts
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining audit-compliant internal financial controls;
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end closure of accounts, including bank reconciliation, and submit reports to the Accounting Supervisor as per prescribed deadlines;
- Prepare and coordinate financial audit;
- Ensure timely and effective follow-up to audit observations and recommendations;
- Manage Asset and Inventory Module
- Monitor Business Center Operation
- Monitor construction projects and preparation of payment
- Prepare and reconciliation of Intercompany Transactions
- Monitor forecast of laboratory supplies as well as school materials and office supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor or Controller
