DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General accounting tasks, including reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations, preparing journal entries, preparing monthly closing and financial reports, preparing account/bank reconciliations;
  • Perform finance analysis, reporting, and management tasks;
  • Preparation of monthly remittance of government taxes
  • Daily budget monitoring on assigned accounts
  • Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining audit-compliant internal financial controls;
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end closure of accounts, including bank reconciliation, and submit reports to the Accounting Supervisor as per prescribed deadlines;
  • Prepare and coordinate financial audit;
  • Ensure timely and effective follow-up to audit observations and recommendations;
  • Manage Asset and Inventory Module
  • Monitor Business Center Operation
  • Monitor construction projects and preparation of payment
  • Prepare and reconciliation of Intercompany Transactions
  • Monitor forecast of laboratory supplies as well as school materials and office supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor or Controller
