Key Responsibilities:
Technical Sales Support:
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, addressing their questions and concerns about satellite products and services.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product specifications, capabilities, and limitations.
Provide technical demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Identify client needs and propose tailored satellite solutions to meet their requirements.
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and address any issues.
Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and market trends in the satellite industry.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote products and services.
Proposal Development:
Prepare and deliver technical proposals, including cost estimates, project timelines, and system specifications.
- Work with the engineering and finance teams to ensure proposals are accurate and competitive.
Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.
Product Training and Support:
Train clients on the use and maintenance of satellite systems.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
Gather client feedback and communicate it to the engineering team for product improvement.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to understand competitor offerings and industry trends.
Analyze customer needs and preferences to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with the engineering, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide input on product development based on client feedback and market demand.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field). A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of satellite technology, including communication systems, payloads, and ground stations.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Proficiency in technical software tools (e.g., MATLAB, STK, CAD software).
Sales and Business Acumen:
Proven experience in technical sales or business development, preferably in the aerospace or telecommunications industry.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Work Environment:
