IT Business Analyst – Asset and Liability Management / Interest Rate Risk (ALM Tribe)

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Work Setup: Hybrid

Shift: Mid-shift

About the Role

A global banking organization is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join its Asset and Liability Management (ALM) Team. This role is part of the ALM Service squad, which is responsible for rolling out standardized ALM configurations across international locations. The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation of new ALM processes, enhance risk measurement capabilities, and collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Treasury, and IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve ALM IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book) processes and infrastructure.
  • Implement new functionalities in the target platform (QRM), including behavioral models and strategies.
  • Support country-specific rollouts and explain risk figures to stakeholders.
  • Ensure output figures for reporting are complete, accurate, and validated.
  • Serve as a sparring partner for Risk and Finance teams.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in banking or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of ALM concepts such as IRRDBB, NPV, and Interest Income.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Experience working in international and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Familiarity with QRM or similar risk platforms.
  • IT affinity and ability to work with technical teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php120,000.00 per month
