Position Title:
ALM and FX Portfolio Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and results-driven
ALM and FX Portfolio Manager
to join our Investments team. The role is responsible for managing the company's balance sheet through effective asset-liability management and optimizing the foreign exchange portfolio. The ideal candidate will execute strategies to maximize returns while maintaining liquidity, profitability, and regulatory compliance.

This role works closely with the
Head of Investments
,
Fixed Income Portfolio Manager
, and
Investment Associate
in identifying opportunities and ensuring efficient fund utilization aligned with the company's investment objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's asset-liability position across foreign currency and PHP portfolios.
  • Oversee and execute
    foreign exchange (FX) transactions
    and ensure effective hedging and risk management.
  • Develop and implement
    medium- to long-term portfolio strategies
    to promote growth, profitability, and balance sheet stability.
  • Monitor
    P&L performance
    , mark-to-market valuations, duration, and other portfolio metrics.
  • Coordinate closely with
    in-house and external fixed income fund managers
    to ensure alignment with ALM limits and liquidity requirements.
  • Review liquidity positions and perform investment or divestment decisions as needed.
  • Provide regular reports, forecasts, and analyses to the Head of Investments and relevant committees.
  • Maintain strong relationships with counterparties, fund managers, and regulators.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Finance, Economics, Management
    , or a related field.
  • Certification as a
    Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
    is an advantage.
  • Minimum of
    5 years' experience
    in
    treasury, asset-liability management, liquidity management, or fixed income and foreign exchange trading
    .
  • Fixed Income Portfolio Managers with experience or exposure to Asset and Liability Management (ALM) are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of
    financial markets, ALM principles, investment accounting
    , and market risk management.
  • Proficiency in
    Bloomberg
    for trading, research, and portfolio management.
  • Excellent
    analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
    abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
