About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal with hands-on experience using Clio (legal practice management software) and Lawmatics (legal CRM and intake software). This role will support our attorneys in managing client matters, preparing legal documents, coordinating case workflows, and ensuring smooth client communications.

The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple cases while leveraging Clio and Lawmatics to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, research, and documentation.

  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.

  • Manage and update case files, calendars, and deadlines in Clio.

  • Oversee client intake, follow-ups, and CRM workflows in Lawmatics.

  • Conduct legal research to support case strategy and document preparation.

  • Track billable hours, generate invoices, and ensure accurate client records.

  • Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties professionally and promptly.

  • Support attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, and case management as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Required Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal (law firm or corporate legal department).

    • Hands-on experience with Clio and Lawmatics.

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree or Paralegal Certification preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication.

    • Knowledge of legal terminology, processes, and case management.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online legal research tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in [insert specific practice area, family law, personal injury, corporate law].

  • Prior experience in remote or hybrid work environments.

  • Familiarity with other legal tech tools (DocuSign, Dropbox, Zoom).
