Job Title: Kitchen Helper – Meat Pie Production

Department: Production / Commissary Kitchen

Employment Type: [Full-time / Part-time / Probationary / Contractual]

Job Description: The Kitchen Helper supports the day-to-day operations in the production of meat pies. This includes assisting in dough preparation, filling, assembling, baking support, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the production area. The ideal candidate should be efficient, detail oriented, and able to follow hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing ingredients for meat pie production (chopping, mixing, portioning).

  • Help in assembling pies – filling, folding, sealing, and arranging for baking.

  • Monitor and refill ingredients and supplies as needed during production.

  • Label and pack finished products for storage or delivery.

  • Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, trays, and equipment.

  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw and cooked ingredients.

  • Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain cleanliness in the commissary.

  • Follow kitchen protocols, food safety, and hygiene standards strictly.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:


• Education: At least High School graduate


• Experience: Experience in a commissary, bakery, or food production is a plus


• Skills:

  1. Familiarity with basic kitchen equipment and food handling

  2. Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely

  3. Quick and efficient with repetitive tasks (e.g., dough handling, sealing pies)

  4. Good organizational and teamwork skills


• Physical Requirements:

  1. Able to stand for extended hours and lift moderately heavy items

  2. Comfortable working in a kitchen/commissary environment


• Personal Traits:

  1. Reliable, punctual, and responsible

  2. Willing to learn and improve skills

  3. Clean and orderly work habit
