Job Description:

A highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Writer responsible for preparing clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly documentation for software applications, internal systems, and project workflows. The primary focus of this role is the development of user guides, instructional materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.

The Technical Writer will collaborate with project managers, developers, and operations teams to ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, write, and maintain user guides, instruction manuals, help documents, and process documentation for internal and external users.

Prepare and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow documentation.

Coordinate with subject-matter experts to gather information and clarify technical and procedural details.

Ensure all documentation is clear, structured, and easily understood by users with varying levels of technical knowledge.

Review and revise existing documentation to improve clarity, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.

Maintain documentation templates, naming conventions, and organizational structures.

Produce secondary-level technical documentation (e.g., basic system overviews, API summaries) when necessary.

Ensure documentation is consistently updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Graduate of any Communication, Journalism, English, Multimedia, or related program.

Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear and structured documentation.

Experience in documentation, writing, content creation, or administrative documentation roles is an advantage.

Basic understanding of software systems or willingness to learn technical concepts.

Familiarity with documentation tools (MS Office, Notion, Google Docs, Canva) is preferred.

Willing to work on-site. (Antipolo City)

Can start ASAP.

Technical Skills (Preferred)

Proficiency in documentation tools such as MS Office, Google Workspace, Canva, Notion, or similar platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Basic understanding of system architecture or software workflows.

Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
