About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at Great Image Services Corporation. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing key financial support and analysis to help drive the overall success of our organisation. Based in our Cubao, Quezon City office in Metro Manila, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and budgeting to support the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist the Accounting Manager in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  2. Support the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and journal entries
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
  4. Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  5. Provide financial analysis and reporting to help inform business decisions
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial information
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
  8. Assist with internal and external audit requests

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
  2. 2+ years of experience in a similar Assistant Accounting Manager or senior-level accounting role
  3. Strong technical accounting skills, including a solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and financial analysis tools
  5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  7. Proven track record of contributing to process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency
