The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that production systems run smoothly with minimal downtime, supports end-users in solving IT issues, and maintains critical systems essential to operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing the IT strategic plan in consultation with the Department and the Executive Team and report on outcomes against objectives.

  • Managing the development of solutions and implementing change in the technology. Operational environment which meets corporate and operational requirements.

  • Communicating policy and strategic advice on IT matters.

  • Maintain an awareness of directions and developments in information and related technologies and where appropriate, investigating their application within the organization.

  • Leading and managing change projects within budget time frames and constraints.

  • Preparing business cases to support improvement and/or acquisition of information technologies.

  • Serve as Data Privacy Officer of the company and ensuring adherence to the Data privacy Act.

Main Activities:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.

  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks including CCTV and phones.

  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.

  • Providing technical support across the business units (this may be in person or over the phone)

  • Setting up accounts of new users

  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of BS Information Technology or equivalent

  • With proven experience.

  • Work assignment in Calinan, Davao City

  • Can start ASAP
