Job description:

Gomeco Metal Corporation, a leading provider of high-quality metal products, is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team in Malinta, Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our comprehensive document control system, ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and compliance of all critical business records.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement document control processes and procedures to ensure effective management of all company documents, including policies, procedures, drawings, contracts, and project files
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, index, and maintain all relevant documents in a centralized system
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of the document control system
  • Provide training and support to employees on the proper use of the document control system
  • Assist in the retrieval, distribution, and archiving of documents as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and internal policies related to document management
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to streamline document control processes

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a document control or records management role, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering industry
  • Strong understanding of document control principles, best practices, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in using document management software and other relevant technologies
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with colleagues at all levels
  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve document-related issues
  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive business information
