Duties and Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payments.
  • Review, verify, and reconcile invoice discrepancies and documentation issues.
  • Prepare customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Maintain up-to-date accounts payable and receivable records.

2. Financial Recordkeeping

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
  • Ensure all financial data is accurate, organized, and properly filed.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.

3. Month-End and Year-End Support

  • Assist with month-end closing activities including journal entries and accruals.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and account reconciliations.
  • Assist auditors by providing requested reports and documentation.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash-flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and discrepancies.
  • Provide recommendations to improve financial accuracy and efficiency.

5. Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.
  • Assist in implementing and improving internal controls and accounting processes.

6. Payroll Support (if applicable)

  • Assist in processing payroll by collecting and verifying timekeeping information.
  • Ensure payroll transactions comply with laws and internal policies.

7. Communication & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve billing or payment issues.
  • Work closely with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php25,000.00 per month
