Product Development Officer (Personal & Health Care Category)The Product Development Officer is responsible for driving the creation and development of new product concepts within the personal and health care category. The role emphasizes ideation, trend analysis, market benchmarking, and concept development.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Ideation & Concept Development

  • Help/ lead with ideation and creation of innovative product concepts for the personal and health care category.
  • Identify market gaps and emerging opportunities based on consumer insights and industry trends.
  • Develop detailed product briefs outlining concept direction, target market, positioning, key claims, and differentiators.

Market Research & Competitive Benchmarking

  • Conduct ongoing competitive benchmarking of local and international personal and health care brands and products.
  • Perform market research, consumer trend analysis, and category performance studies to guide product pipeline development.
  • Consolidate insights into clear recommendations for new concepts or product improvements.

Product Planning & Business Justification

  • Prepare product proposals including concept rationale, expected benefits, projected demand, pricing strategy, and brand fit.
  • Provide financial, functional, and marketing justification for new product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to ensure product feasibility and alignment with company goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D and external formulation partners to translate approved product concepts into feasible products.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to explore new ingredients, technologies, packaging innovations, and market trends.
  • Ensure product requirements, claims, and specifications are clearly communicated to all relevant teams.

Project Management

  • Manage the end-to-end timeline of product development—from concept approval to pre-launch readiness.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate concerns to the Managing Partner when needed.
  • Provide regular updates on milestones, timelines, and approval stages.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Support documentation for internal product approvals, supplier coordination, and regulatory submissions.
  • Ensure new product concepts align with FDA guidelines and regulatory requirements applicable to the personal and health care category.

General Responsibilities

  • Ensure all developed concepts meet or exceed consumer expectations and industry standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and industry networks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
