The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a company's Human Resources department, ensuring the implementation of HR policies and procedures, managing recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and providing guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, all while adhering to local labor laws and regulations; key duties include recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee training, disciplinary actions, and maintaining accurate employee records.
Recruitment and Selection:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Conduct background checks and reference verifications.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and grievances, mediating disputes when necessary.
- Investigate and handle disciplinary actions according to company policy.
- Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement initiatives.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance against set goals.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to employees to improve performance.
- Identify training and development needs based on performance evaluations.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to Philippine labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Generate reports on key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, absenteeism, and workforce demographics.
Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs on company policies, procedures, and relevant skills development.
- Facilitate onboarding process for new hires.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- minimum of 2 years experience as HR Supervisor/Officer or more than 5 years in HR support role
- Outstanding leadership, planning, and organizing qualities.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in handling payroll, recruitment, and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
