Freelance Architect

We are looking for a project-based freelance architect to conceptualize and develop commercial and residential structures. The ideal candidate will be designing both exterior and interior spaces, generating functional and aesthetic building layouts, creating professional 2D and 3D visualizations, and in charge of bringing project owner's ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design commercial and residential buildings based on project requirements.
  • Develop building layouts, space planning, and architectural solutions that balance function and aesthetics.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and construction documents using CAD software.
  • Produce 3D models and visual representations using SketchUp or similar tools.
  • Render designs using Lumion or equivalent rendering software to produce high-quality presentations.
  • Ensure designs comply with the National Building Code and Fire Code of the Philippines.
  • Collaborate with project owners, managers, engineers, and other stakeholders for revisions and approvals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Licensed Architect preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Knowledge of Philippine National Building Code and Fire Code.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion.
  • Preferably 1–3 years of architectural design and planning experience (but not required for fresh graduates).
  • Experience with completed architectural projects is a plus.
  • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to deliver within deadlines.

Work Setup & Compensation

  • Project-based freelance engagement — compensation per project (to be discussed based on scope and complexity).
  • Flexible working arrangement but may require site visits/meetings as needed.
