Job Description
We need a detail-oriented and proactive HR Compensation and Benefits to join our company. This role is responsible for managing compensation and benefits that attract, retain and motivate employees while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Reporting Relationship
Directly reports to President
Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
- Provides payroll information by collecting time and attendance records.
- Prepares payroll of probationary and regular employees due for release every 15th and 30th (31st) of the month.
Remittances and Reports
- Prepares periodic remittance reports of premiums and loan payments for SSS, PHILHEALTH and PAG-IBIG.
- Maintains and updates subsidiary ledger of employee's loan account with SSS, PAG-IBIG, etc.
- Ensure compliance with the Philippine labor law and regulations regarding compensation and benefits.
- Create and update policies related to compensation and benefits, ensuring clear communication to employees.
Employee Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
- Facilitates employees' loan application with SSS and PAG-IBIG, Maternity/Paternity Leave and Benefits withs SSS and PHILHEALTH benefits due to hospitalization.
Other Responsibilities
- Performs other human resources-related tasks that may be assigned to him/her from time to time.
Educational requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a relevant field.
Qualifications
- Proficient with MS Office applications and HRIS tools
- Experience in compensation and benefits management in the Philippines.
- Strong knowledge of government-mandated benefits, employment & labor law, benefits program administration, and payroll processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, sound, written, and oral communication skills.
- Solid problem-solving and team management abilities
- Superior attention to detail and has a proven track record of maintaining employee confidentiality.
