Key Responsibilities

Elevator installers are tasked with several critical responsibilities. Primary among these is the installation of new elevator systems, which includes setting up elevator cars, installing electrical wires, and configuring control systems. They also ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes and building regulations.

Tasks and Duties

Installing elevator components such as cables, doors, controls, and lighting systems.

Connect electrical wiring to control panels and electric motors.

Test newly installed equipment to ensure that it meets specifications.

Troubleshoot malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and control systems.

Updating systems in compliance with changing building codes and safety regulations.

Qualification

At least have attain a high school level or Tesda Certified NCII in welding, scaffolding and electrical wirings

Have a minimum background in electro-mechanical equipment

Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

With good moral character

With experience in elevator /escalator industry is highly accepted

Candidates must possess either a high school qualification or any one TESDA NCII certification in welding, scaffolding, or electrical wiring.

Australian work rights are required for this position.
