Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about video games and possess a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within the gaming industry. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from conception to launch, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate among cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, artists, and QA testers.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and changes effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Conduct post-mortems and create reports to analyze project successes and areas for improvement.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting collaboration and innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, project management methodologies, and new technologies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, with at least 1 year specifically within the gaming industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and problem-solve effectively.
  • A strong passion for video games and an in-depth knowledge of current gaming trends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification.
  • Experience with game development engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • Familiarity with game design principles and development pipelines.
  • Experience in managing external vendors and contractors.
