Job Description

The Planning and Design Specialist co-develops and provides planning research, preliminary design analysis and planning and architectural conceptual to schematic design materials and references as recommendations for business development level projects. The role will have the following primary functions:

A. Planning

  1. Conducts, studies, and prepares materials and references for the development of the Conceptual Masterplan

  2. Introduces Development Concepts and spatial analysis, comparative research and analysis, and basic planning framework as initial studies for business development level projects.

  3. Prepares design production and visualization of design schemes to be packaged and presented as Business Development references such as Conceptual Masterplan, Schematic Site Development plan, programmatic and diagrammatic analysis, etc.

  4. Collaborates in defining or developing the initial Project Vision, identification of development potential, or development Value Proposition

B. Design Innovation and Product Development

  1. Develops/provides site development or architectural studies and develops appropriate real estate or building typologies to fit or complement existing or speculative business development areas.

  2. Performs other tasks relative to the role functions that may be assigned from time to time.

C. Planning and Design Management

  1. Prepares document references for project requirements, consultant engagements, terms of references, and other necessary reference document expected from the role of planning and design management.

2. Coordination with project work groups and consultants on ongoing tasks and projects handled.
