DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly reporting to the Planning Supervisor and Supply Chain Director.
  • Coordinating to different departments regarding the timelines and Status
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels in accordance with the company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor inventory level of raw materials and act accordingly for the critical materials.
  • Planning of the necessary materials using software based or any existing system that address the
  • following question
  • What is needed?
  • How much is needed and
  • When is it needed?
  • Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of raw materials to support the daily operation.
  • Prepares purchase requisition (PR) for the raw materials based on the customer demand and
  • considering the supplier lead time on regular basis
  • Review inventory levels of materials and open orders, adjust the schedule if necessary.
  • Coordinate to Purchasing and Logistic in monitor arrival of requested materials based on the requested date.
  • Coordinate to accredited suppliers if necessary
  • Keep updated the MRP system on a daily basis.
  • Keep updated the Bill of Materials at all times.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials for new product
  • Prepare analysis on the plan accuracy and actual consumption of raw materials and make reports on a regular basis (daily, weekly…etc) as needed.
  • Monitor the life cycle of raw materials and products to avoid excess inventories and generate reports.
  • Prepare and submit report required by Department Head
  • Perform any other task as needed.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably graduate of Industrial Engineering or any related course
  • With at least 2 years related work experience is required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
