DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure timely review and replenishment of the raw materials handled using company provided tool to attain optimum and stable supply of finished goods.
  • Ensure that daily production plan /schedule are endorsed to production team on time with complete material requirements and necessary instruction.
  • Monitor and ensure that daily production plans are met according to schedule
  • Lead a close coordination with the internal and external parties to align demand and capacity of the production line in-charged of to ensure stock availability.
  • Take ownership of material planning related issues that may arise in the production line / items in-charged of, and take any follow up to avoid delay of delivery to customers
  • Coordinate closely MIS- BPD, Production and Warehouse department to ensure integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory accuracy at all times to ensure accurate planning.
  • Coordinates with concern departments to reduce obsolete finished goods inventory of the item handled
  • Monitor assigned KPIs daily ensure that these are met; make analysis and process improvement for any non-attainment to avoid recurrence; report performance to superior and stake holder.
  • Ensure strategic and operational information, reports and metrics are available to share with others in the business.
  • Represent the department/unit in different discussions such as, but not limited Monthly Production and Material Requirements Planning(MPMRP), Monthly Sub-contractor Meeting, New Product Introduction (NPI), Daily Review Meeting (DRM), MDL Review and Reporting and other meetings related to production planning, or as prescribed by superior.
  • Report to PPIC Supervisor all important and urgent matters of the line handled with proper analysis of situation, its cause, effect and recommended solution, for his/her (PPIC Supervisor) intervention or decision.
  • Participate actively in existing productivity group activities of the company such as but not limited to SGA (Small Group Activity), Quality Control Circle (QCC),Kaizen and 7S.
  • Perform other tasks that will be assigned by superior/s.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or materials management
  • Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) and production processes.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Strong coordination, organizational, and time management skills.
