JOB ACCOUNTABILITY:

Is accountable to ensuring the lowest possible level of non-performing loans through curing and remedial actions, and/or account write-off. S/he is responsible for managing the organic workforce, partnering with stakeholders, and outside service providers (OSPs) to ensure that the execution of the work is according to standards established.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1 Identifies key performance indicators (KPIs) used to measure productivity in aid of achieving the NPL budget and flow rates. Monitors and reviews such KPIs to ensure that such are always relevant.

  1. Lead the members of the Collections Unit to ensure that mandates, duties and responsibilities are accomplished with the highest quality, effectiveness, efficiency, and in a timely manner. Ensures collective and individual productivity of employees. Determines and monitors capacity requirement and ensures efficient allocation of resources through regular and effective capacity planning that is within the approved budget.

  2. Responsible for the formulation, development, and implementation of policies, procedures, and directives to meet the set targets of the bank and the products supported. Organizes the work and equips employees to help them accomplish the set targets and objectives.

  3. Lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions to improve work processes that meet internal and external customer expectations.

Approves all necessary transactions and documents as allowed and required by documented authority limits granted.

  1. Establishes and maintains professional engagement with OSP owners/managers and provide direction on strategies to meet mutual goals and objectives.

  2. Maintains and develops an environment that champions the bank's DNA – it's Mission, Vision, Values and Culture. Ensures that employees are developed to be effective future leaders of the organization.
