The Purchaser is responsible for ensuring that MSY Pharmacy maintains adequate stock of medicines, healthcare products, and supplies through efficient procurement. The role involves sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies. The Purchaser plays a vital role in balancing cost efficiency, timely supply, and product quality to support uninterrupted pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Sourcing
  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products.
  • Negotiate purchase terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to secure favorable agreements.
  • Monitor vendor performance and maintain good supplier relationships.
  • Inventory & Stock Management
  • Monitor daily stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with demand and safety stock levels.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving items and critical medicines.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all purchases comply with FDA, DOH, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and updated purchase records, supplier databases, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with accounting for supplier billing and payment processing.
  • Coordination & Reporting
  • Work closely with branch managers and pharmacists to forecast product demand.
  • Provide regular procurement reports and updates on supplier issues, pricing changes, and stock risks.
  • Escalate any supply chain disruptions to management for immediate action.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field..
  • Experience:
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management (preferably in retail pharmacy, healthcare, or FMCG). Fresh graduates are open to apply
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical products and suppliers is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory systems, or ERP software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict timelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php414.00 per day
