Job Overview

The primary tasks of a BIM Coordinator include developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards, coordinating information and data management, and liaising between project teams, clients, and consultants. A significant part of the BIM Coordinator role involves ensuring that all project data is accurate, compliant with industry and company standards, and readily accessible to relevant parties.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop BIM implementation plans and ensuring their adherence throughout the project lifestyle.
  • Lead BIM coordination meetings to facilitate problem resolution and to enhance project collaboration.
  • Perform clash detection checks to reduce conflicts during construction phases.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensuring systematic storage and retrieval of project information
  • Assist in the technical management of subcontractor models and data exchanges.
  • Execute government standards by implementing virtual design during construction phase.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture or any engineering course.
  • At least 2 years work experience as BIM Coordinator.
  • Advanced skills in use of AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software.
  • Knowledgeable in plan reading of AEC drawings.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
