Job Overview
The BIM Modeler is part of the production team responsible for creating the majority of project drawings. This role works closely with the BIM Job Captains and BIM Manager to produce highly detailed and accurate models and drawings.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the BIM Job Captains and BIM Manager.
- Revise models based on review feedback and ensure model accuracy.
- Follow BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project workflow criteria.
- Produce precise construction documents from BIM models.
- Create custom parametric families according to project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct initial clash detection and prepare BIM clash and design issue reports for review by the Job Captain.
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Architecture or any Engineering course.
- PRC license is an advantage but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in BIM and at least 3 years of total experience using Revit.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM-related software.
- Knowledgeable in reading plans for at least two AEC disciplines.
