WHAT GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT LOOK FORWARD TO DO WELL

Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records and ensuring the compliance with accounting principles and practices. Work closely with the financial control division to analyze financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.

What you will do:

• Accurately record all financial transactions in the general ledger system. This includes journal entries for revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure that all transactions are accurately reflected, and discrepancies are resolved promptly. This may include bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing adjusting journal entries, accruals, and other necessary entries to ensure that financial statements are in accordance with the accounting standards.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary changes to accounting processes and procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation, explanations, and reconciliations as required.
• Continuously review accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Compliance with e-tap's safety, security, and information security protocols.
• Perform other job-related functions or duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Pay: Php25, Php28,000.00 per month
