We're Hiring: General Ledger/Closing Accountant

Makati City | Hybrid 3x onsite and 2x WFH | Midshift 2PM-11PM

As a General Ledger/Closing Accountant, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to manage reconciliations, tax reporting, and month-end closing activities. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a high-performing, growth-driven company with international exposure.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform all reconciliations before period closure, including bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and other accounts.

  • Handle intercompany transaction reconciliations.

  • Reclassify and adjust specific accounts, ensuring timely completion of related reports.

  • Prepare and file tax returns and other required tax reports.

  • Generate Balance Sheet and P&L reports at month-end and assist in financial analysis.

  • Support internal and external audit requests.

  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • CPA license required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of solid accounting experience with strong knowledge of general accounting processes and bookkeeping.

  • Background in audit (basic level).

  • Proven experience in Closing Accounting functions—including intercompany transactions, tax, FX (foreign exchange), and month-end closing.

  • Experience handling multiple entities or subsidiaries, preferably in multinational settings.

  • Skilled in preparing financial statements, journal entries, accrual, prepaid, VAT, and income tax reports.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and finance software applications.

  • Experience with NetSuite or ERP systems is an advantage.

  • Background with a Big 4 public accounting firm preferred.

  • Previous experience in multinational companies is a plus.
