Join to apply for the General Ledger Accountant role at Safari Rent A Car, Inc. Overview We are seeking an experienced GL Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records by managing general ledger transactions, preparing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing Perform account analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Assist in preparing financial statements and reports Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 23 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Finance and Accounting / Auditing Industries Truck Transportation and Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage #J-18808-Ljbffr
