About the Role

Radix HR is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to support cost estimation, budgeting, and project monitoring for construction and fit-out projects. This entry-level role is designed for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who want to build their expertise in quantity surveying while contributing to live projects. Working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience in preparing bills of quantities, assisting with cost analysis, and coordinating with vendors and subcontractors.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) based on approved designs and project requirements.
  • Support in estimating quantities from construction drawings and actual site conditions.
  • Help collect quotations from vendors/subcontractors and align them with project requirements.
  • Participate in site visits to gather data needed for accurate cost estimation.
  • Assist in monitoring project concerns and reporting them to the Senior Quantity Surveyor.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Provide administrative support such as data entry into project management systems.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • 0–1 year of work experience in construction, interior fit-out, or cost estimation (fresh graduates are welcome).
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, or cost estimation tools (Odoo, Planswift experience is a plus but not required).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
