Hotel Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing sales plans:This includes identifying target markets, developing sales strategies, and creating promotional packages.
- Building and maintaining client relationships:This involves regular communication, networking, and providing exceptional service to ensure repeat business.
- Negotiating contracts:The manager will negotiate rates, terms, and conditions with clients, ensuring that the hotel's revenue goals are met.
- Managing and growing client accounts:This includes actively prospecting for new business, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Coordinating with other hotel departments:Working with front desk, housekeeping, event planning, and other departments to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Analyzing sales data and market trends:Using data to identify opportunities, measure performance, and refine sales strategies.
- Leading and coaching a sales team:In larger roles, this includes setting goals, training, and motivating sales staff.
- Representing the hotel at industry events and trade shows:Networking and building relationships with industry professionals.
- Managing a sales budget:Controlling and optimizing sales spending to achieve revenue targets.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to build rapport, persuade, and negotiate.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills: Proven ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Understanding of the hospitality industry: Knowledge of hotel operations, customer service, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems: Using technology to manage client data, track sales activities, and generate reports.
- Leadership and team management skills: For senior roles, the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Flexible and adaptable to different situations.
- Time management and organizational skills: Effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
